Pass the remote....please
I pretty much grew up with television. One way or the other, it nourished my mind. Everything from children's shows and documentaries, to cartoons and talk shows. My memories have never been fleeting. The 70's gave me shows like "Emergency", "Adam 12", "Kolchak: the night stalker" etc. They all dealt with law and the medical profession. In the 80's "Miami Vice", "Hill Street Blues", "St. Elsewhere" saw a lot more serious drama. Even the 90's had some interesting viewing. "Law & Order", "NYPD Blue", and "Northern Exposure". Did you have a favorite genre? Was there a certain year you found the best television? Any "boob tube" moments you wish to share?

Hulu
I've been watching Hulu.com lately. I am really enjoying the tv series that I can find there. I've been watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer because I really didn't get into it until the 2nd to last season. I found out that Angel was in the very 1st season and Buffy found out thathe was a vampire in the same season. I had thought that he came around the same time as Spike had as a competition between the both of them. I've also been watch Emergency and Adam 12. Those were two shows that I think remember watching that were on at the same time. I've been looking for Marcus Welby, M.D. and Medical Center. I can't find Marcus Welby, but they do ask that if there is somethng that you can't find to let them know about it and they will see what they can do.Another one that I have been watching has been Night Gallery. I never missed one of those shows when I was a kid. My brother and sister use to watch that all together after our homework was done. If you want to save some money because you have a rental service or cable, Hulu is the way to go.DCMerkle
A Martinez
I read this on my soap site today. It givesALOTof background on the man and the characters he has played. http://www.soapcentral.com/oltl/news/2008/0804-martinez.php A Martinez is once again returning to the world of daytime television. The two-time former soap star has landed a role on ABC's One Life to Live in a newly created role. Martinez will make his debut later this summer. Emmy-winning actor A Martinez will join the cast of One Life to Live in the upcoming weeks. The actor has been tapped for the role of Ray Montez, a newly created role that may bring about the addition of a lot of new faces into the Llanview scene. It's been nearly six years since Martinez's last soap appearance on General Hospital. Born Adolph Larrue Martinez, Martinez got his start in television playing bit roles in some of the biggest series of the 1970s. His diverse ethnic background allowed him to play both Latino and Native American characters. After guest spots on Adam 12, Ironside, and Bonanza, Martinez scored recurring roles on All In the Family and Whiz Kids. In 1984, he received what could have been his biggest break since landing his first television role. From 1984 to 1992,...
Cop Shows
There are numerous cop shows out there that are both current and in re-runs, let alone the ones we grew up with that aren't on tv anymore. I happen to love watching shows about the police and them solving crimes. Anybody else here like them and if so which ones and why and are there ones you don't like? If you don't like any please share your opinion as to why.I've liked way too many to list. Let's just say I'm a cop show junkie:) I grew up watching ones like Adam 12, TJ Hooker, 21 Jump Street. 21 Jump Street was one of my favorites as a teenager. It was a great show about undercover cops in the highschools. It gave a very different perspective on cops and teens. Mostly now I watch shows like NCIS, CSI and Law and Order SVU. All three of these I love how they go about solving the cases. How they delve into them and try to find different ways to discover who the criminal might be.
