| Any Cliff Richard fans out there? | | A certain blue bunny rabbit has been saying some awful things about my all time favourite singer, Cliff Richard. Is she in a minority? Or am I a sad and deluded old bird? Love or hate him, not many people can claim a successful career spanning over 50 years. The first time I saw Cliff live on stage, I was about 8 years old, and I've been in love ever since. The only time I can remember my mother smacking me was when I went to see 'Summer Holiday' and sat through the film 3 times. I was hours late home, and my parents were worried sick.Have you been a fan of anyone for most of your life? | |

Cliff wowed fans around the world.It was during the
1970s that his star started to fade.I believe that he
had also appeared in a number of stage musicals.These
days Cliff,now known as "Sir Cliff Richard",is hardly
ever in the news.He has changed his style and is a lot
different to the Cliff Richard of the early "Move It"
days of Rock 'n Roll,but he is still a fantastic singer and a fabulous performer and guitarist.Cliff

| | Cliff Richards and the Shadows | | Hey guys, i was doing mylot and suddenly a wave of nostalgia swept over me, so i navigated away from the site and went to Youtube and in the search option wrote Summer Holiday.The videos of the movie and Cliff`s stage performances came on the screen so i clicked on one of them an heard Cliff and the Shadows on stage singing ' Living Doll".Then came 'Do you wanna dance' followed by 'The young Ones'. I was completely thrilled and became very nostalgic as i remembered all the songs we would sing during our young days. We were also the young Ones in those days and my favourite were the Shadows and amongst them lead guitarist Hank Marvin.Later on when i started my own band i played most of the Shadows music.Brought back wonderful memories of those never to be forgotten young days. | |
