| One of my favorite shows is Gilligans Island if you were on a deserted island to | | I love Gilligan's Island it is a way for me to travel back and remember when times were good when things were a simplier world. The other day I was watching and seeing how this "group" of strangers managed to survive and in a way become a little community of thier own. So my question is if you were to be found in this situation could you manage with the other 6 and if you could pick what kinds of people the other 6 would be like like profession ect. In this day and age could you think of 6 that could be survival ready that could survive without our phones and computers and be able to build and feed ourselves on what nature provided us ect.. Any thoughts on this??? | |

| Imagine building your own hut... | | Did you watch Gilligan's Island? I loved that show. I have watched the re-runs over and over again and I probably still would if they came back on. Imagine being a castaway, just as well they all got along because it didn't look like they were going home any time soon! Imagine building yourself a hut to live in and hunting for food! Gee I wonder how the Skipper, Gilligan and the rest did it. I am going to take cases full of stuff next time I go on a day trip, you never know...
If you got stranded on a deserted island who would you like to be "stuck" with? Who would you like to go hunting with? Did I mention it has to be a famous person? OH yeah, no husbands or wives here! | | Gilligan's Island Rescue Made for TV Movie | | Or whatever it is called. We just watched it yesterday because we found it at the dollar spot at Target for 25 cents. So we couldn't pass it up, since my husband and I grew up watching the first run of this tv show. I was surprised that I had never seen it before. I didn't actually see it all, but saw 75% of it. I got the jist of it even with missing parts of it.Has anyone else seen it? It was corny but it answered a lot of questions for me.I know it wasn't the same without Tina Louise playing Ginger. | |

This is about the longest i remember it not being on cable somewhere. it is a great show to fall asleep to, its brain dead no thinking required, you know what will happen next, it has sweet light humor.my question, did you like the show, and would you like to see it again on tv?? last who is your favorite character, mine are male gilligan, female mary ann.
