| | Remember Leave It To Beaver? | | If you're not old enough to remember the original black and white series about the Cleaver family, popular back in the 1950's, you've probably seen episodes on TVLand, from time to time.A newspaper article today stated that Tony Dow, who played Wally, Beaver's older brother in the tv series, is having one of his abstract sculptures displayed at the Louvre Art Museum in Paris.
The exhibition Dow's work will be featured in is Societe Nationale des Beaux-Arts, one of the most prestigious juried art shows.Dow has worked as a director and visual effects producer on several TV shows, but painting and sculpting has been his chief interest and occupation since the old "Leave it to Beaver" days.Did anyone realize that "Wally" was, at the time of his tv appearances, a budding young artist? | |
