Anybody like Cable?
I love to watch cable in the evenings. There are certain channels I enjoy the most. I love the History Channel especially when they have docs on about Egyptology and ancient cities like Rome, Greece, Egypt, etc. Then I enjoy NatGeo(National Geographic). Lastnight there was a documentary on the brain and three men who were savonts(sp). Very interesting! Also the BIO channel is always having something on it like Ghost Hunters or the new Celebrity Ghost Stories. Fun stuff! And lastly the TCM and AMC is wonderful. Old movies with actors like Burt Lancaster in The Birdman of Alcatraz or Barbara Stanwyck in Double Indemnity. I do enjoy a good Vintage Movie. I remember back in the late 70's when I worked at the telephone company and there was this one young guy that always came to work looking like death warmed over. I set by him one day and asked him what was up. He said he stayed up all night watching cable. It was new in the area then. What are your favorite channels and programs?
